About Us

Cuore Impavido

Our Story

The vineyard is situated 800 meters above the sea level in the area of Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park, in the municipality of Sovramonte, in the village “Col dei Mich”.

Our story begins in 2018, when we imagined our vineyard in this piece of land.
More adjacent lands were later purchased and the dream begins to come true.

We are Cuore Impavido, a young small farm winery that immediately believed in the potential of this territory and of the so-called PIWI grapes, which we chose to cultivate.

The Solaris variety’s resistance to fungus pathologies allows us to preserve the natural balance of our mountain’s environment. Everything reflects on our natural wine, authentic and unique.

Philosophy

We believe in sustainable viticulture based on natural agriculture where gestures of care move on an emotional level, in a daily relationship of uniqueness and complicity with the Earth.

The company was born with the desire to create a natural mountain wine without the use of herbicides and other chemicals.
As in the vineyard, even in the cellar the work is measured and each operation is dictated largely by the sensitivity of the winemaker.

We directly follow the entire supply chain: from agricultural work to grape processing, up to bottling.
Therefore we can humbly say that we have won the challenge, since our relationship with the territory continues to be founded on the rhythms of Nature.

Loris De Bortoli

In 2018, when he purchased the first piece of land from Loris De Bortoli, the fascinating beauty of this territory immediately appeared because it was still partly wild.

In June 2019 he planted the first cuttings which showed the first signs of growth in July. This is how the current 4000 square meters of vineyard gradually begin to breathe.

Pure, fresh air that Loris loves to feel on his skin when he walks through the rows. Sensitive, yet bold soul. Loris founded the Cuore Impavido company which finds the true strength to grow in the local community and its collaborators.

Almost half a hectare of biodiversity and sustainable beauty among the rows of Solaris grapes:

a dream possible thanks to humble work and stubborn passion.
