The
vineyard
The vineyard is located at an 800 meters altitude, on the clayey-calcareous land that ascends towards Monte Vallazza, before the slopes become steeper and dominated by the wood.
The area is 1,3 hectares, however the vineyard extends 4 thousands square meters and it is surrounded by a vegetable garden, fruit trees, meadows and the remaining wild part.
Beside the temperate cool climate, typical of the Sovramonte highland, the vineyards here benefit from an excellent sunshine and breeze, thanks to their exposition and the absence of significant mountains to the south.
Our wine comes from these vineyards, since their first planting in 2019, we fertilize naturally without any synthetic chemical, to preserve the biodiversity and the land’s natural balance.

characteristics
Col dei Mich
We are in Sovramonte, north of the hamlet of Zorzoi, not far from the small inhabited center of Col dei Mich: a meadow plateau facing south and frequented by man since the most remote times.
Going up from the plain towards the slopes of Monte Vallazza (2167 m) you come across an information point of the Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park, a rural building built on the foundations of an ancient watchtower of thirteenth-century origin, which once restored became the restaurant “All’Antica Torre”.
Once past the latter, a few meters on the right, our vineyard appears.
A natural area rich in biodiversity where many animal species live such as roe deer, foxes and wild boars as well as many varieties of birds including the chaffinch, the robin and the blackbird.
The flora, equally rich and varied, deserves attention and respect in every season of the year. Indeed, the first botanical explorers of the 1700s had already discovered its extraordinary richness.
